Problems?
It is rare for students to have problems with the course software but when it
does happen it is usually because of the following.
Most problems stem from either pop up blockers that interfere with the
operation of the quiz or firewall security settings. Disable both pop up
blockers and firewalls to see if they are causing the problem. If so,
either disable the programs or adjust their settings to allow the test to work.
Hotmail and Yahoo email accounts have built in pop up blockers that will
most certainly interfere with the course operation. Just be sure to close
Hotmail or Yahoo before entering the course. Other free email may have the
same type of blockers so close down any free email if you are having trouble
getting course features to work properly.
Occasionally, company firewalls will be the culprit. If that is the
case, only your company IT person can help. If you suspect it is the
company firewall, try more than one computer. If you have the same problem
with all computers in your work area then it is probably the company firewall.
